Our websites are hosted on a Virtual Private Server physically located inside the United States. The website will automatically track certain information about your visit such as your IP address, pages requested, browser, operating system, etc. This information is needed only to render the website visible on your device.
The information is tracked in a server log file for routine administration, maintenance, and security purposes. We access the logs only for the purposes of troubleshooting technical issues, not for visitor identification issues, and routinely delete the log files. No permanent record of user usage is maintained.
In addition, we utilize services from Cloudflare, one of the globe’s largest providers of security and operational support to websites, with a strong emphasis on security and privacy. Specifically, they are helpful in blocking bots and nefarious visitors to my websites as well as enhancing global visitor experience by storing and serving pieces of my website from servers around the world. All of our website traffic flows through their services, so they have access to the typical information needed to deliver webpages such as your IP address, pages requested, browser, operating system, etc. You may access their privacy policy at https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/.
